Pope Francis' Encyclical: Environment
Pope Francis released his encyclical on the environment. The title is “Praised Be ” (Laudato Si'). These are the first words of St. Francis of Assisi’s “Canticle of the Sun. ”It is a prayer praising God for all creation that St. Francis calls “Brother Fire,” “Sister Moon” and “Mother Earth.” On June 28, churches worldwide are being asked to ring their bells at noon to commemorate a “Thank you, to Pope Francis” March in Rome being held that day. El Papa Francisco a publicado su encíclica sobre el Medio Ambiente. El Título es “Alabado Sea.” (Laudato Si). Estas son las primeras palabras de San Francisco de Asís “El Cántico del Sol”.
