Be familiar, in general with six periods of church history: Apostolic/Patristic Era (30-420); Early Middle Ages (420-1054); Middle Ages (1054-1439); Reformation (1439-1563); Tridentine Era (1563-1962); Vatican II and beyond (1962-present) and be able to name and discuss significant historical, theological and sacramental developments of the period.
