Introduction to the Christian Spirituality
Participants in this course will learn about Christian spirituality with a Jesuit flair. They will begin with the daily practice of the examen, next explore how saints throughout the Christian tradition have lived the gospel in their time and place, and finally write their own spiritual autobiography in dialog with the Autobiography of St. Ignatius Loyola. Through exploring how God works in the small details and the big moments of their lives, they will learn to see more clearly and respond more deeply to this God, who in the words of Pope Francis, is not "to be limited by the greatest and yet to be contained in the tiniest."
